  1. Sneaky Peek Card Trick

This seemingly impossible mind reading trick is a lot of fun and is surprisingly easy to do. Lets go then and take you through the performance and then reveal how its done.

Performance : You have one of your friends thoroughly shuffle a deck of cards and then hand the deck to you behind your back. While you are holding the deck there, tell your friend to remove a card from anywhere in the deck, look at it, and then place it back on top of the pack. You then turn and face your audience and, after a little concentrating using all your acting ability, you name the selected card. Yahoo !!!

How Its Done : After the card is chosen behind your back, turn and face your audience. After you do thid, you secretly tear off a small portion of the corner of the top card containing the index pip.

After you turn and face the audience, you bring the hand containing the index up to your forehead, as if you are concentrating very hard. The torn portion of the card stays hidden from your friend's view behind your fingers. This allows you to peek at it and reveal the name of the card.

The torn off piece of card can then be dicretely slipped into your back pocket so as not to reveal the secret. You can get away with this trick one or two times but don't push your luck or you'll eventually get found out.

Super Story Card Trick

This trick is as masterclass in elevating a simple card trick into a fun and entertaining experience just by incorporating a fun story.

The basic trick is known by many names, such as The Four Thieves or Cops and Robbers and a few other variations but the method is basically the same.

Performance : You begin the trick by showing four jacks to the audience and tell them that they represent four burglars who decided to rob Macy's department store. They start out on the roof of the store, and they agree that they will meet there again when they are done. You then place the four jacks on the top of the face-down deck.

Four Jack playings fanned out in your hand.

The first burglar went down to the jewelry department, you say.

You take one of the face-down jacks from the top of the deck and place it randomly somewhere in the deck. The second burglar went to the furs department.

You slip the second jack into the deck. The other two burglars went into the electronics and motoring departments. You accompany this explanation by slipping the two remaining jacks somewhere in the deck.

Suddenly the alarm rang ! Just like magic, the four burglars reappear on the roof of the store (just in time for the police to collar them). One by one, you turn the four cards on top of the deck over and show that they are the four jacks!

How Its Done :

The trick requires only a deck of cards from which you remove the four Jacks and four other random cards.

Firstly, remove the four Jacks from the deck and without the audience seeing, count off another four random cards and slip them under the pile of four Jacks.

You then fan the four Jacks out in front of the audience, taking care to keep the other four random cards hidden behind the bottom Jack

What you need:

A deck of cards. Only one deck is used for this trick, and you use only four jacks ( and four random cards).

How you do it:

Find the four jacks in the deck. What the audience doesn't know is that you have four random cards in addition to the jacks.

Four Jack playings fanned out in your hand. What your audience should see.

Fan the jacks out for the audience, being careful to keep the four random cards hidden behind the last Jack.

Fanned out cards showing the normally hidden four cards at the back behind the Jacks. What your actually holding.

Place all the cards face down on top of the deck. When you slip the top four cards into different places in the deck, it is really the four random cards rather than the jacks.

End the trick by showing that the four Jacks have returned to the top of the deck and accept the applause.
