Sneaky Cheeky Peek Card Trick
A really cool mind reading trick to impress your friends
This seemingly impossible mind reading trick is a lot of fun and is surprisingly easy to do. Lets go then and take you through the performance and then reveal how its done.
Performance : You have one of your friends thoroughly shuffle a deck of cards and then hand the deck to you behind your back. While you are holding the deck there, tell your friend to remove a card from anywhere in the deck, look at it, and then place it back on top of the pack. You then turn and face your audience and, after a little concentrating using all your acting ability, you name the selected card. Yahoo !!!
How Its Done : After the card is chosen behind your back, turn and face your audience. After you do this, you secretly tear off a small portion of the corner of the top card containing the index pip.
After you turn and face the audience, you bring the hand containing the index up to your forehead, as if you are concentrating very hard. The torn portion of the card stays hidden from your friend's view behind your fingers. This allows you to peek at it and reveal the name of the card.
The torn off piece of card can then be dicretely slipped into your back pocket so as not to reveal the secret. You can get away with this trick one or two times but don't push your luck or you'll eventually get found out.
